Emirates resumes flights to Zagreb for summer

Emirates

1 April 2019 – Dubai airline Emirates has resumed its operations to the Croatian capital Zagreb for the summer period, the company announced on Monday.

Low-cost airline flydubai took over Emirates’ winter service between Dubai and Zagreb at the start of December but Emirates has now resumed its service.

The move was the latest in a series of partnerships between Emirates and flydubai after the two announced a partnership deal in 2017. The two airlines code-share to over 90 destinations.

The “strategic partnership between both airlines ensures capacity is deployed to best serve customer demand”, a statement said.

Emirates flight EK 129, which will be operated with its Boeing 777-300ER, will depart Dubai at 8.30 am and arrive in Zagreb at 12.35 pm local time. The return flight EK 130 will depart Zagreb at 3.25 pm and arrive in Dubai at 11pm local time.

From 16 April – 30 May flights will operate four times weekly (Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) due to work being carried out at DXB.

From 31 May the daily service will resume. Emirates’ daily service to Zagreb will operate in a three-class configuration with eight first class seats, 42 seats in business class and 304 seats in economy class.
