Dinamo Zagreb advance to playoffs of UEFA Youth League

Dinamo Zagreb’s youth team has emulated the senior team by making it into the playoffs of the UEFA league.
Dinamo Zagreb beat FC Astana from Kazakhstan in Zagreb 3-1 to advance to the playoffs. Earlier this month the club’s senior team qualified for the knockout phase of the UEFA Europa League.
Goals from Leon Šipoš, Bartol Franjić and Dino Kapitanović gave Dinamo Zagreb the important win and sent them through to the playoffs where they will play one of the second-place clubs from the Champions League youth groups.
Dinamo will find out their opponent at the draw on 17 December. The play-off to make the last 16 will take place on 19-20 February 2019.
