Dina Levačić has just completed the Irish Triple Crown

Croatian open water swimmer Dina Levačić has another remarkable achievement under her belt.

Dina completed the Irish Triple Crown on Tuesday when she swam the 20.5km Fastnet Rock route.

The 27-year-old, who created history earlier this year when she became the youngest woman in history to complete the Oceans Seven, set a new female record, pending ratification, with a time of 05:29:29.

One week prior, Dina completed the second route in the Irish Triple Crown when she swam Galway Bay.

Last summer she started her mission to complete the Irish Triple Crown by completing the gruelling 34.5 km North Channel.

Dina’s Irish Triple Crown:

Swim Route: North Channel

“Thank you all for the support, You are wind at my back,” Dina said after the swim.

Dina now sets her sights on the Bristol Channel (Wales, England), which is the final step towards her completing the Original Triple Crown. The Original Triple Crown consists of swimming across the English Channel, the North Channel, and the Bristol Channel. So far Dina has swam the English Channel and the North Channel and only the Bristol Channel is left.

By successfully crossing the Bristol Channel, Dina would become the 8th person in the world and the first person from Croatia to complete the Original Triple Crown.

Earlier this year, Dina became the 23rd person ever and the only Croatian to complete the Oceans Seven, which is a marathon swimming challenge consisting of the 7 largest and most difficult channels in the world.
