Darinka Orčik from Hungary Wins Most Beautiful Croatian in National Folk Costume Title

26 Croatian girls from 21 countries, including Australia, USA, Brazil, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, Hungary, Germany, Serbia, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Spain, took part in the beauty pageant, with Orčik claiming the title from first runner-up Ivana Kljajić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and second runner-up Slavica Draghi (Romania).

The pageant, which was aimed at connecting Croatians throughout the world, was organised by the Stećak Association in Bosnia, who preserve and promote traditional Croatian culture, and the Croatian Heritage Foundation in Zagreb. (pic Stećak Association)
