Crodiaspora: How to bid for public tenders in Croatia

As a still developing economy, a significant portion of productive economic activity in Croatia still takes place within the public sector. With this being the case, it is important for investors, especially those from the diaspora, to be able to actively engage with the public sector in Croatia. Because of the still rather centralised business sphere in the country, businesses small and large often depend on government contracts for work.

With all of this in mind, Crodiaspora will be holding a live webinar this Thursday, featuring John Gašparac, Country Managing Partner at PwC Croatia and Jelena Drndić who serves as Head of Public Procurement for PwC Croatia. The webinar will be streamed from Crodiaspora’s facebook page this Thursday, March 18th at 6pm Croatian time or 1pm EST.

This webinar is being held largely to urge and facilitate the integration of diaspora businesses and businesspeople into the Croatian sphere of economic activity. As our diaspora communities continue to produce intelligent, educated, and ambitious Croats, it becomes incumbent upon us as a whole to use our areas of expertise to push Croatia into a modernized and economically focused era.

For all those currently in the process of starting or expanding a business in Croatia, this webinar will frame some of the next steps going forward and in particular in will bring clarity to the processes surrounding corporate engagement with the public sector.
