ZAGREB, April 2 (Hina) – Croatian nationals, who are still in Italy and Span, the two European hotspots of the spread of COVID-19, as well as Croatians in Portugal and Sweden will be transported on Croatia Airlines planes back to Zagreb on Saturday, the Croatian Foreign and European Affairs  Ministry stated on Thursday.

Thus, three commercial repatriation flights are scheduled for the afternoon on 4 April.

The routes of the flights are Zagreb-Rome-Zagreb, Zagreb-Lisbon-Madrid-Zagreb and Zagreb-Stockholm-Zagreb.

Tickets can be provided via the Obzor travel agency, which is a daughter-company of Croatian Airlines.

The ministry says in a statement that being aware of the fact that a considerable number of Croatians are in the hotspots of the coronavirus pandemic, the network of Croatian consulates and embassies has been investing huge efforts, since the outbreak of the epidemic, in seeking best possible ways to repatriate those citizens, who have been stuck abroad amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
