Croatian Tourism Month to start: Big discounts in October in Croatia

Dubrovnik

The “Croatian Tourism Month” campaign starts tomorrow, a project of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Croatian National Tourist Board, within which numerous tourist services and experiences will be available at 35 percent more favourable prices.

All Croatian citizens, as well as foreign guests who will be staying in Croatia during October, will be able to tourist services in all parts of Croatia at attractive prices, and everything will be available on the “Croatian Tourism Month” portal.

“The promotional campaign is being launched together with the project, which aims to further inform and encourage tourism entities to participate, but also the public themselves, who we invite to take advantage of this opportunity to travel and experience at much more affordable prices. There are still close to 200 thousand tourists still staying in our country, and the post-season and autumn period are ideal for a short vacation and discovering new destinations. We believe there will be very good results with this project, i.e. in its contribution to the overall tourist results this year”, said the Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić, emphasising the importance of further compliance with all prescribed epidemiological measures and responsible behaviour.

Through this promotion, all travel lovers will be able to visit different parts of Croatia and consume numerous tourist products and services, from accommodation, transport, cultural, historical, natural sights and tourist attractions to catering services and various experiences.

“With Croatian Tourism Month, we want to encourage domestic and foreign tourists to explore Croatia, and at the same time extend the season. Due to the great interest in last year’s “Vacation-Worthy Week”, we have decided that this year, across the country, tourists will have available a range of services at special benefits and discounts of at least 35 percent throughout October. We believe this will be an additional motivation for them to travel and discover destinations they have not yet visited. To-date in the post-season, we have recorded excellent results which confirm that Croatia has all the predispositions to become a year-round tourist destination, which is our strategic goal. I invite all stakeholders in tourism to partake in Croatian Tourism Month, and tourists, both domestic and foreign, to take advantage of the benefits offered to them and discover all the beauties of Croatia, which is beautiful year-round”, said Minister of Tourism and Sports Nikolina Brnjac.

The project “Croatian Tourism Month” is a continuation of last year’s extremely successful project “Vacation-Worthy Week” which was implemented in the period from October 16th to 25th, and which this year, due to the great interest of tourism entities and the public, will run throughout October. Let us add that the main goal of the project is to extend the tourist season by encouraging domestic and foreign tourist traffic in the post-season.
