Croatian Ice Hockey Team Beat Iceland 6:1 To Top Group At World Champs

The Croatian ice hockey team have continued on their winning way at the Ice Hockey World Championships which are being held currently in Zagreb.

After beating Australia and Spain earlier in the week, Croatia destroyed Iceland 6:1 last night to go top of the group. Scorers on the night were Andy Sertich, Mislav Blagus, Marko Lovrencic, Dominik Kanaet, John Hecimovic and Tomislav Cunko.

Croatia and Belgium lead the group with nine points each. Croatia will now face Serbia on Friday before meeting Belgium on Saturday in a match that will probably decide the groups winners and who will be promoted to Division 1 of world hockey.
