Rank-star is a mobile and web application, which allows users in a fast and simple way to recommend their favourite places and businesses around the world, add new ones, and see which have the highest recommendations. The application is aimed at those who do not want to waste time whilst searching for the best solution, and provides a quick search of companies that have received the most relevant recommendations in a particular job and category. The usefulness of the application is mutual – as it offers efficient solutions to users, especially tourists, as well as all companies, who via free advertising on a local, regional and global level, have a new insight into the competitiveness of the market.

Rank-star currently have more than 30,000 different companies in its database, including a number of bars, restaurants, shops, schools, media outlets, freelancers, salons, hotels and apartments, with active users spanning across 3 continents after just one month on the market.

Rank-star is the project of young innovator and entrepreneur Matija Špes from above in Croatia. Currently based in Silicon Valley near San Francisco, Rank-star, which employees 15 people, plan to open a development center in Croatia, as well as the expanding in the U.S market.
