Croatian company inks deal with Romanian contractor worth nearly €750,000

ZAGREB, June 5 (Hina) – Croatia’s Djuro Djakovic Group said on Friday that its unit Djuro Djakovic Strojna Obrada has signed a €748,650 contract with Romanian company Softronic SRL for the supply of ASEA locomotive axle sets.

Under the new contract with the Romanian locomotives and electric trains manufacturer, the deliveries of the axle sets are expected to begin in early 2021, Djuro Djakovic said in a statement.

Djuro Djakovic Strojna Obrada is mainly active in the production and repair of locomotive and rail wagon wheel sets and the manufacturing of diverse power transmission gears. In the past years, most of its output has been sold on various European markets.
