Croatian Companies Win 50 Million HRK Contract to Supply Defence Force

The Ministry selected local firms to supply a host of equipment, including 6,000 fighting uniforms (pants, shirts, jackets, caps), 3,000 official uniforms, 10,500 pairs of shoes, 35,000 pairs of socks, 4,000 belts, 200 helmets, 800 overalls and jackets, 700 wet-weather suits, 13,000 undergarments, 2,000 vests and 11,000 dried meals.

Firms who won contracts include two have also won big contracts to supply military units abroad – Šestan Busch and HS produkt.

“By signing this agreement we want to support you as much as we can and in this way show that we are not only consumers, but also generators of the development of production and stimulators of the local economy, especially products that are competitive around the world,” said Minister of Defence Ante Kotromanović.
