Croatia to host sailing’s 2nd TNG Challenge Cup

7 January 2019 – From June 15-22, 2019, the 2nd TNG Challenge Cup will take place in Croatia.

During the TNG Challenge Cup sailors can visit the most beautiful places in the Adriatic where they can enjoy delicious local dishes and drinks in top restaurants. The TNG Challenge Cup will start with a maximum of 20 boats.

From season to season sailing has become one of the most interesting sports and touristic attractions in our country and region. It is also a way of living, traveling, getting to know destination better with magnificent views of the horizon, shores and sea. Sailing in Croatia attracts guests from so many countries worldwide.

If you want to sail and also visit the many nice places on the Croatian coast, and are experienced in sailing, this is the perfect event for you. From June 15-22 Jun 2019, the TNG Challenge Cup starts in Croatia.

After the successful first edition of the TNG Challenge Cup, TNG Swiss watches is once again organizing this spectacular event in collaboration with Sailpoint Croatia.

“The TNG Challenge Cup begins in Split, where you will pick-up your boat and sail to the island of Solta. The official Race-program starts on Solta, Maslenica and it will take you to the islands Brac, Hvar, Sveti Klement and Vis.

You will enjoy the finest conditions of sailing in the famous waters and spinning winds of Pakleni otoci (also known as Hell Islands). Besides racing, there is time to enjoy the beautiful weather and amazing coastlines of Croatia. This year we organize a Masterclass on Sunday, June 16 in which you can better master the intricacies of competitive sailing! The TNG Challenge Cup will start with a maximum of 20 boats. From June 15-22 of 2019, the spectacular TNG Challenge Cup will again be held in Croatia, one of the best sailing spots in the Mediterranean! This One Design regatta is designed for competitive sailors, who like to challenge themselves – and others – during the day and enjoy having dinner in good (sailors ) company at night. Join the fleet of One Design First 45 race boats and you will have a full week (Saturday to Saturday) use of our own high-end boat. All race boats are ready for demanding regatta conditions and fully equipped with full battened tri-radial cut mainsail and top spinnaker equipment.
