Croatia to face France & Sweden in Zagreb

ZAGREB, 23 July 2020 – The Croatian capital Zagreb will host Croatia’s opening two UEFA Nations League matches in October, the federation announced on Thursday.

Croatia will play Sweden on 11 October and World Champions France on 14 October at Zagreb’s Maksimir Stadium. 

Croatia is in Group A3 with Portugal, France and Sweden and opens up their 2020/21 UEFA Nations League campaign against Portugal away on 5 September before meeting France on 8 September. 

The 2020/21 UEFA Nations League group stages are being played on revised dates in September, October, and November 2020. 

In November, Croatia travels to Sweden on the 14th before a home fixture in the last round on the 17th against Portugal. 

The group winners will move onto the finals whilst the team which finishes last will be relegated to League B.

Round 1: Portugal – Croatia (05/09, 20:45)

Round 2: France – Croatia (08/09, 20:45)

Round 3: Croatia – Sweden (11/10, 18:00 – Maksimir Stadium, Zagreb)

Round 4: Croatia – France (14/10, 20:45 – Maksimir Stadium, Zagreb)

Round 5: Sweden – Croatia (14/11, 20:45)

Round 6: Croatia – Portugal (17/11, 20:45)
