Croatia End 2016 Ranked 14th in the World

A year which saw only one defeat, in extra-time against Portugal at EURO 2016, has seen Croatia end the year ranked 14th in the world, according to the latest FIFA rankings released today.

Ante Čačić’s side played 13 matches in 2016, winning 9 of them, drawing 3 and recording just one defeat.

Croatia scored 32 goals in 2016, the most goals per game in its history.

Argentina, who won 10 of their 15 matches in 2016, topped the latest FIFA Rankings. Brazil are in second place, followed by Germany and Chile with Belgium in fifth place.
