Croatia And Hungary To Build 300km Bike Track

Croatia and Hungary are planned to build a 300 kilometre bike track which will connect Croatia’s north with the south of Hungary.

The Mayor of Nagykanizsa in Hungary told a press conference yesterday that the bike track will connect the Croatian towns of Koprivnica and Cakovec with Nagykanizsa and Zalakaros in Hungary. The project is worth 2 million euros, of which 85% of it will come from EU funds. The bike track, which will have shops also built along part of the route, is expected to be finished by October next year.
