Croatia And France Sign Film Co-Production Agreement

Croatia’s Minister of Culture Andrea Zlatar Violic has signed a film co-production agreement with her French counterpart Aurelie Filippetti on Tuesday in Cannes.
The agreement on future cooperation, which will be driven by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) and France’s Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animee-CNC, will see Croatia and France rebuilding and establishing cinematic connections.
Amongst other things, the agreement will open up possibilities for Croatian producers and filmmakers to obtaining foreign and French funding for films, films to be screened in French cinemas, participation at French and international film festivals and a larger presence in the international film market. The agreement will also form the basis for cooperation between Croatian and French filmmakers and producers on joint film projects.
