ZAGREB, 15 JUNE 2020 – Croatia Airlines will not be launching flights to some destinations in Europe this summer season.

Croatia’s flag carrier confirmed to Croatian Aviation that the airline will not operate on three international routes from Zagreb during this summer season.

The routes which have been cancelled for this season are:

Zagreb – Stockholm

Zagreb – Helsinki

Zagreb – Oslo

“The reason for giving up the launch of three seasonal international routes is, of course, the reduced demand and restrictions imposed by certain countries to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection,” Croatian Aviation writes.

The airline is also still considering whether a direct route between Zagreb and Bucharest will be introduced this summer.

“All other routes (operating year-round and on seasonal base) should be active again in this summer flight schedule, the company is still considering the dates of their re-introduction, which primarily depends on the development of the epidemiological situation in each destination, country restrictions and demand,” Croatian Aviation concluded.
