Croat Ecstatic After Debut Premier League Goal Sinks League Leaders Liverpool

The Croatia centre back, who joined Southampton from French club Lyon during the summer on a four-year deal worth an estimated £8.5 million, needed just 5 matches to find the back of the net when he rose and headed home in the second half. Lovren’s header sent the Saint’s into third spot on the table. Croatian international’s Mario Manđžukić and Ivica Olić also found the back of the over the weekend for their respective clubs in Germany’s Bundesliga.
