Croatia’s handball coach Slavko Goluza believes his team can go all the way at the World Handball Championships in Madrid after ending a 5-year curse against France with a convincing 30-23 victory in the quarter-final last night.
Croatia will now face Denmark for a spot in the final after beating France for the first time in knock-out phase at a major tournament since the European Championships in 2008.
“I want to congratulate my guys. We need to celebrate that victory and then the dangerous Danes await us. We will go on, on to the end,” said Goluza after the match.
