Chelsea in Talks With 13-Year-Old Dinamo Zagreb Talent

EdinEnglish Premier League leaders Chelsea are in pursuit of Dinamo Zagreb’s 13-year-old rising star Edin Julardžija…

Representatives from the English Premier League club met with their Dinamo Zagreb counterparts last Thursday in the hope of bringing the talented teen to Stamford Bridge.

“We were at the club and they expressed a desire for Edin to go to London. Marijan Vlak (Dinamo Academy boss) told us that he thought that it was best that the kid stays at Dinamo where he has everything he needs to continue his development,” Edin’s father Dino told daily Jutarnji list, adding that he has sought a ‘time out’ so the family can think about the offer in peace.

FIFA rules are clear with regards to signing a 13-year-old player, and Edin may be able to make the move to London under the condition that his family also move and find jobs there. That may not be an issue, Dino is a coach at the Zagreb football school.
