Blanka Vlašić Wins Silver Medal at World Championships in China

Another medal for Croatia at the IAAF World Championships 2015…

Blanka Vlašić has won silver in the final of the women’s high jump at the world championships in Beijing on Saturday.

The former world champion and Olympic silver medalist jumped 201cm to finish 2nd behind Russia’s Maria Kuchina who won gold.

It was the first time that Croatia had two representatives in the final of the women’s high jump at a world champs with Ana Šimić also making the final. Discus thrower Sandra Perković won silver a few days ago to claim Croatia’s first medal.
