Largest & Most Modern Cinema in Dalmatia Set to Open in Split

Split’s new cinema multiplex set to open (CineStar)

The largest cinema in all of Dalmatia is set to open in Split.

Locals in the city of Split and visitors will be able to enjoy a unique cinema experience this year when CINESTAR SPLIT 4DX ™ multiplex opens in the Mall of Split shopping centre, equipped with state-of-the-art technology that takes movie viewing to a whole new level.

The largest cinema in Dalmatia will have a total of nine cinemas and 1,386 seats, and with a unique eXtreme hall, the 4DX ™ cinema, which CineStar brings to Split thanks to an exclusive contract with CJ 4DPLEX, the world leader in 4DX technology.

The 4Dx cinema in Split will be third to open in Croatia after Zagreb and Rijeka.

Other special features of the new CineStar multiplex in Split is its superb technological capability, enabling a whole new level of cinema experience. Namely, this latest generation cinema will be the second cinema in Croatia, along with Kaptol Boutique Cinema in Zagreb, which is fully equipped with Barco laser projectors.

The latest CLP series of laser projectors is based on laser technology of blue laser and phosphorous “wheel”, which in combination create a full spectrum of colors and superior image quality.

All the cinemas in the new Split multiplex are equipped with state-of-the-art digital technology, and the quality of experience is complemented by a silver to wall-to-wall cloth and Dolby Digital EX.
