From Zagreb to Dubrovnik: Here’s who’s playing concerts across Croatia on New Year’s Eve

Croatian cities are gearing up slowly New Year’s Eves celebrations, with open-air concerts, family-friendly events and regional and international names taking to stages across the country.

As Tportal reports, here is who is playing across the country on the big night. 

Zagreb

The capital promises a lively celebration with performances by Luzeri, Idem, Elemental and Dubioza Kolektiv. TV presenter Martina Validžić will host the main programme, while a popular Children’s Noon Countdown returns to Trg Petra Preradovića with Bojan Jambrošić, surprise guests and a festive midday “New Year”.

Šibenik

Šibenik continues its tradition of ambitious line-ups, welcoming British trip-hop icons Morcheeba to the square by St James’ Cathedral. The night opens with Pytzek, followed by Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist Philip Lassiter.

The festivities continue on 1 January with Petar Grašo on Stradun.

Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik’s December calendar features Vanna, Đani Stipaničev, Dražen Zečić and Željko Bebek. The main New Year’s Eve spectacle sees Dino Merlin return to Stradun, joined by Hiljson Mandela and Jakov Jozinović, accompanied by the traditional midnight fireworks.

Split

Split hosts Željko Bebek and Baby Lasagna on the Riva, with Vanillaz rounding off the electronic-tinged night. A second stage in Perivoj Roberta Visianija brings Matija Cvek & The Funkensteins, followed by DJ duo Djobi Djoba.

Rijeka

Rijeka rings in 2026 with a Big CroDance Party on Korzo, celebrating the dance anthems of the ’90s and early 2000s. Acts include Alka Vuica, Indira Levak, Senna M, Simplicia, ET and Ilan Kabiljo, promising a nostalgic and high-energy night.

Varaždin

Varaždin begins festivities at noon with its children’s celebration and Moto Mrazovi, followed by Vizija Band on Korzo. At midnight, locals can take part in the city’s long-running New Year’s Race.

Koprivnica

Koprivnica again combines its cheerful children’s countdown—this year led by DJ Sebax—with an evening concert by Tragovi on Zrinski Square.

Zadar

Zadar offers programmes across several locations, including a noon celebration featuring a Lady Gaga interpretive act on Trg Petra Zoranića. Evening highlights include a Rockstar show on the same square and an all-night electronic programme at the City Market, with both venues hosting encore events the following day.

Bjelovar

Bjelovar’s celebration takes place at the Christmas Music Pavilion, where Vlado Kalember will perform his classic hits.

Novalja

Novalja opens the festivities on 28 December with Tony Cetinski. New Year’s Eve belongs to Giuliano and Diktatori on Trg Bazilike.

Poreč

Poreč welcomes Kids from the Sky and Miach to Trg Matije Gupca on 31 December, while Tony Cetinski headlines Trg Slobode as the city steps into 2026.

Pula

Pula prepares three stages of entertainment from morning to early dawn. A popular noon countdown at Portarata features Lima Len, while the main stage later hosts Ivan Licul, followed by Gustafi and a late-night DJ set. The Forum offers a rock-driven night with DJ Jinxxie Grooves, Neno Belan & Fiumens at midnight and Funbox Band until sunrise.

Slavonski Brod

Dražen Žerić Žera and Crvena Jabuka will take the stage on Brod’s Korzo, serenading crowds into the New Year with their well-known repertoire.
