The popular Burger Festival returns to Zagreb this September for 10th anniversary

From 4 – 14 September, Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana in Zagreb will once again be transformed into a paradise for food lovers as the city hosts the 10th edition of Burger Festival Zagreb.

Over the past decade, the festival has grown into the region’s most popular street food event, attracting more than 150,000 visitors each year.

To mark the special anniversary, this year’s edition promises to be the most exciting yet, with 16 stands – 14 of them dedicated to burgers – serving up around 50 different creations from across Croatia.

Visitors will be able to sample everything from classic favourites to bold new concepts, with chefs and grill masters travelling from Dubrovnik, Split, Šibenik, Zadar, Istria and beyond.

Among the highlights are smash burger specialists Mason and Picnic Mingle & Fun, innovative creations from Jellyfish in Space and Noel Street Food, wild game burgers from Grof Lovski, and new names like Chubby Chuk’s and UFO Space Burgers.

Festival regulars including Mate Janković and Ivan Pažanin will also return with fresh surprises.

In addition to the gourmet offering, Burger Festival Zagreb has prepared a rich side programme.

Live concerts, children’s entertainment, open-air cinema, quizzes, workshops and DJ performances will keep the atmosphere lively throughout the 10 days.

Visitors can also vote for their favourite burger, with the winner announced on the festival’s closing day, 14 September.

ZABA Mastercard holders will enjoy a daily Happy Hour between 18:00 and 19:00 with 10% off all purchases, making it an ideal spot for an after-work gathering or family evening out.
