Croasan, a spot specialising in filled croissants, has recently opened in the old town of Split.
This family-run business, founded by brothers Davor and Ante Matijaš, along with their proud mum who works daily in the shop, offers something completely new to the Croatian food scene – croissants like you have never seen before.

At Croasan, croissants are cut and filled fresh in front of you with a range of indulgent ingredients – from melted chocolate and nut-based creams to sweets, ice cream and other decadent toppings.

“We wanted to create something you simply cannot find anywhere else in Croatia,” say the Matijaš brothers.

“This is not just a croissant. It is fun, completely over-the-top and, most importantly, it is family. Our mum works in the shop. You can see it, you can feel it – and you will want to share it.”
