It’s no surprise why Dubrovnik is quickly rising in the ranks as a top vacation destination. From the elegant cobblestone streets, to the orange rooftops overlooking the shining Adriatic, Dubrovnik is what many consider a picturesque paradise. In addition to its beauty, Dubrovnik has a seemingly infinite selection of restaurants. Dining at the scenic hotspots provides an enhanced Dubrovnik experience.

It’s hard to compete with Above 5’s superior view within the heart of the Old Town. This quaint terrace sits atop hotel Stari Grad, overlooking the walled city and Adriatic landscape. To compliment a grand view, Above 5 exudes quality service and cuisine. The menu offers exclusive local products, ranging from Croatian cheeses, wines, and the fresh catch-of-the-day. In contrast to numerous other Dubrovnik restaurants, Above 5 is far from a tourist trap, instead offering an intimate, authentic dining experience.

The peaceful ambiance, superb service, and thoughtful cuisine is the perfect way to unwind from a long day in the crowds.

Here you can watch the sunset melt over the seemingly endless Adriatic horizon, while having a cocktail or treating yourself to dinner or lunch. Panorama restaurant serves a variety of recipes from the Dubrovnik region as well as classic club sandwiches and Greek salad.

You won’t find a view like this anywhere else in Dubrovnik, so it’s well worth the cable car ride to the top.

This café bar is perfect for relaxing while being in the center of Old Town action. Not only do you have elegant view, you also have a front-row seat for people watching. Stop by for a light breakfast, late lunch, or simple latte and absorb the life and energy of Stradun.

4. Komarda

Many tourists surely walk past this place without knowing the breathe-taking view inside. Located just outside the Ploce gate, Komarda is a waterfront restaurant with a view overlooking the Old Town’s harbor. Here you get the best of both worlds: you’re next to the sea and away from the crowds, yet you also have the picturesque Old Town as your backdrop. Komarda serves your typical Mediterranean cuisine with various fish, meat, cheese, and pasta dishes. The engulfing trees provide shade from the summer sun while the sea gives off a refreshing breeze for your scenic dining experience.
