21st Spancirfest to take place in Varazdin from 23 Aug-1 Sept

VARAZDIN, 11 August 2019 – The 21st edition of Spancirfest street festival, which is one of the most important cultural events on the Croatian calendar, will take place in Varazdin from 23 August – 1 September. 

Concerts, street performers, workshops, exhibitions, creative, rich show-sale offers, gastronomic pleasures and many other facilities for ten days transform the beautiful historic core of Varazdin into a unique festival stage, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors.

Since Spancirfest festival first started, it has brought in over 3 million visitors and 10,000 performers to the city which is located 80 km north of the capital Zagreb.

The most popular part of the most popular Croatian festival is its concert programme, and it is as diverse as the festival itself.

This year’s artists on the main stage are:  The Gipsy Kings by Baliardo, Rambo Amadeus, Goran Bare i Majke, Krankšvester, Vojko V, Silente, Elemental, Gustafi, Tony Cetinski, Dzambo Agusevi Orchestra, with additional stage for warm up and after party programmes.

Every year, Spancirfest offers its visitors a rich concert programme, the best European and world street performers, acrobats and entertainers, an innovative creative programme consisting of workshops, studios and open-air exhibitions honouring the long and important tradition of craftsmanship in Varazdin.
