Free New Year’s Eve concerts in Croatian cities: Who is playing where

As the year comes to an end, Croatian cities have prepared concerts for its public New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Here is a look at who will be performing where. All events are free for visitors.
Zagreb
Location: Ban Josip Jelačić Square
Zagreb will see in New Year’s Eve 2025 on its main square with a line up that includes up-and-coming trap/rap artists Miach, Grše, and Hiljson Mandela, Eurovision sensation Baby Lasagna, and the iconic Josipa Lisac.
Split
Location: Riva
Dubioza Kolektiv will perform in Split on the waterfront on New Year’s Eve. Known for their unique blend of punk, reggae, dub, ska, and rock infused with strong political messages, Dubioza Kolektiv are famous for hits such as “Kažu,” “Valter,” and “Kokuz”.
Dubrovnik
Location: Stradun
Dubrovnik will ring in 2025 with performances by Tony Cetinski and Italian rock musician Adelmo Fornaciari, better known as Zucchero. The concerts are part of this year’s Dubrovnik Winter Festival.
Šibenik
Location: In front of St James’ Cathedral; Advent Stage at Robert Visiani Park
Mario Biondi will be performing in Šibenik. He previously performed there in 2018 at St Michael’s Fortress. This year, he will perform in front of St James’ Cathedral on 31 December. Meanwhile, Silente and BluVinil will entertain crowds in the park.
Rijeka
Location: Korzo
Rijeka’s New Year’s Eve celebration will feature Neno Belan & Fiumensi and Let 3 performing on Korzo. Let 3’s performance will be enhanced by the Jeka Primorja Choir, brass ensemble Sestre led by Igor Pavlica, and Marina Perazić, who will sing one of her own songs and a Let 3 classic.
Osijek
Location: Vatroslav Lisinski Square in Tvrđa
Osijek will be entertained by popular Croatian rock band Prljavo Kazalište on New Year’s Eve. The festivities in Tvrđa will kick off at 9 p.m. with a performance by the tamburica band Džentlmeni. Prljavo Kazalište will take the stage at 11 p.m., marking their return to Osijek after performing there during the same period last year.
Opatija
Location: Mrkat (in front of the city market)
Opatija’s New Year’s Eve will feature the band Magazin, whose performance begins at 11 p.m. The evening will conclude with a set by local band Dellboys, playing into the early hours of the morning.
Pula
Location: Forum
The New Year’s Eve celebrations in Pula feature Mrle & Ivanka at Portarata at noon. In the evening, Elemental will perform at Portarata from 11 p.m. until just after midnight, while Petar Grašo will take the stage at Forum during the same hours. Additionally, the Kaštel venue will host performances by Pulap Reggae Station, Dubcat, Heavy Duty, Munchies, Laseech, Mr M, and Manscream.
Slavonski Brod
Location: Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić Square
Slavonski Brod will host a concert by Nina Badrić, who is set to take the stage at approximately 11 p.m. Her two-hour set will feature songs spanning her career.
Rovinj
Location: Marshal Tito Square
This year, Parni Valjak will perform in Rovinj and help locals and tourists see in 2025.
