15% Rise in Foreign Tourists in October

WikiThe number of tourists to visit Croatia continues to grow, with arrivals last month up more than 15% from the same period last year…

In October there were 15.2% more foreign arrivals than there were in 2013, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, with overnight stays up 5.8%. The number of domestic tourists however dropped by 0.6% from last October. Foreign tourists accounted for 82% of all tourist numbers in October.

As it was during the popular summer season, the Germans lead the way in October accounting for 29% of all overnight stays in commercial accommodation facilities, followed by Austrians (9%), Brits (7.6%), Slovenians (6.7%), Italians (4%), French (3.6%) and US citizens (3.4%).
