Tottenham Hotspurs Sign Croatian Teenage Duo, Reports Croatian Media

Dinamo Zagreb football club President Mirko Barisic has confirmed that two of the club’s sought after teenage stars have signed transfer deals and will leave the club.

“The transfer of Tin Jedvaj and Alen Halilovic is sorted, we have agreed everything with their future club. They will stay with us (for now) and one of them for at least one year,” said Dinamo Zagreb’s President Barisic.

Daily Sportske Novosti reports that English club Tottenham Hotspurs have secured Halilovic and Jedaj for 20 million euros, although the amount has not been officially confirmed. Both players will remain with the Croatian champions until they turn 18 – defender Jedvaj in the winter and Croatia’s youngest ever debutant Halilovic in the summer of 2014. Tottenham Hotspurs have had an affinity in recent times with Croatian players. Luka Modric, Niko Kranjcar, Vedran Corluka and Stipe Pletikosa all spending time at White Hart Lane recently.
