103 Beaches in Dubrovnik- Neretva County Return ‘Excellent’ Water Testing Results

The water at 103 beaches has been rated ‘excellent quality’ after testing from 28 July to 8 August in the region, the County’s Department of Environmental Protection and Nature reported on Tuesday. The ‘excellent water’ status included beaches in the Dubrovnik area, as well as on the nearby island of Korčula. Only one beach on the island of Mljet temporarily has not meet required standards. Testing will again occur at the beach in the next seven days when it is expected to be upgraded. (pic: Proizd Beach, Korčula)
