Zagreb Food Truck Festival returns

One of the favourite events in the capital is back to the delight of food and music enthusiasts at Jarun on Thursday, August 24th, and will continue until September 10th.

The green oasis of Zagreb’s Jarun lake will, for the eighth time, host the Food Truck Festival in the shade of the meadow next to the Aquarius club.

The Food Truck Festival is also the first festival edition in the capital after the summer break, offering plenty of content and programs for all ages. The festival runs from Monday to Friday, starting at 4 PM and ending at midnight, while the weekend is reserved for all-day gatherings starting at 12 PM.

Along with five food trucks offering great street food, the festival will feature a Sweet Zone that no one will be able to resist. BBQ Hot Yard, Mrav burger bar, Rollin’ Flock, Jeti Fritule, and Vafl, along with additional festival guest appearances, will present their Food Truck specialties.

The festival’s gastro menu will have something for everyone, from delicious burgers, bao buns, wraps, salads, pulled pork sandwiches, fritters, waffles, and other street food delicacies. For the first time at the cocktail bar, Piena, a sparkling wine from the Dobra Berba winery in Plešivica, will be introduced, offering a selection of refreshing summer cocktails. Karlovačka Brewery, Badel, Jamnica, Sky Cola, Hendricks, and Frexeinet will also offer their beverages for a refreshing experience at the Food Truck Festival.

A new addition to the children’s zone is a large inflatable for all the little ones.

During the festival, visitors can enjoy various concerts and DJ performances from Wednesday to Sunday each festival week. Weekdays, the music program starts at 7 PM, while on weekends, it begins at 8 PM, and admission is free.

The festival will run from 4 PM to midnight on weekdays and from 12 PM to 1 AM on weekends. The festival location is Jarun Lake, next to the Aquarius club. Entrance to the festival is free.

All festival visitors who pay through the KEKSPAY app will receive a 10% discount.
