Works at Zagreb Airport to affect flights in May

Franjo Tuđman Airport in Zagreb has reported today that due to maintenance of the runway and taxiway it will be closed overnight throughout May, affecting flights.

‘Zagreb Airport runway and taxi way F will be undergoing regular maintenance from May 2 to May 31, 2023, during the night time – from 11pm until 6:25am,’ the airport said in a statement.

All airlines which operate at Zagreb Airport have received notice of the closure on time so they can coordinate their flight schedules, the airport added.

KLM and Lufthansa have already adjusted their flight schedules, while Ryanair, the largest low-cost airline, has significantly reduced its flight schedule for May due to the announced works.

Zagreb Airport says that passengers need to check directly with the airline they will be traveling with for all information regarding flights in May.
