Zadar to host the most famous regional street food festival

The first Burger Festival Zadar will be held from 2nd to 11th June at Obala kralja Petra Krešimira IV. With 150.000 people visitors each year, it is the most relevant street food festival in the region. 

Founded six years ago by the creative and passionate people from agency Kokoš ili jaje, who are also creators of the famous Fuliranje in Zagreb, the Burger festival considerably upgraded and inspired the Croatian street food scene.

– Our goal is to bring the success of Burger Festival Zagreb to Zadar and to create new gastronomic content in the city with the most beautiful sunset – said the organizers. They are bringing to Burger Festival Zadar a carefully selected crew of chefs, cocktail masters, and DJs.

The first Burger Festival Zadar will present seven gourmet magicians with their new culinary creations. They are as follows: Burger Institut by Mate Janković and Chefs Burgers by Ivan Pažanin, both guaranteed to make a delicious and original impression on all the visitors. 

In Zadar there also be Full Circle by Marko Palfi with four burgers: his well-known classic – Smokey D, Decadent, Mediterranean, and veggie Beyond burger.

The amazing 4Burgers will bring joy with their smash burgers: Original, Bacon, Smoke Jalapeno, and Chicken, while Beg’s Plant-based will delight anyone looking for a new and unique gastronomic experience because their burgers are made exclusively from plant ingredients.

Street food start-up from Zadar – Picnic Mingle & Fun will represent the hosting city. 

They are the best debutantes and two awards winners at Zagreb Burger Festival 2022, and they won the hearts of many street foodies throughout Croatia with their cheerful spirit. Picnic Mingle & Fun and their “silver beast on wheels”, their great mood, equally great burgers, and delicious cocktails attract attention wherever they appear.

In Zadar, they will delight the audience with four extraordinary burgers, namely: Blackie Burger, Prawn Burger, Juicy Burger, and Snow Burger. The local scene is also represented by the team from Burgers & More with their excellent burgers, which are already well known to all Zadar residents, as well as to all guests who come to Zadar.

Burgers & More will present five delicacies at the Burger Festival Zadar: Deluxe Bacon Burger, Truffle Burger, Rock’n’roll Burger, Italian Burger, and New York Style Burger.

Great burgers will be accompanied by ice-cold Staropramen beer and artisan cocktails. 

A carefully designed music program and a great atmosphere are rooted in the DNA of all festivals organized by this creative team. Top DJs, musicians, competitions, and performances are the creative and attractive backdrop of the Burger Festival.
