World Famous Designer In Zagreb With Exhibition


There will be an exhibition on the ideology of beauty by Karim Rashid, one of the most revered and respected contemporary designers in the world, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in the Croatian capital Zagreb on Saturday night.

Rashid, who is currently in Croatia, has realised more than 3,500 designs and is the winner of approximately 300 major international awards. At his Zagreb exhibition, his design objects that have attracted global attention in recent decades will be exhibited. Rashid was born in Cairo to Egyptian and English parents, and raised in Canada, Karim now resides in New York managing his private design studio. His work are in the permanent collections of fourteen museums worldwide, including New York and Paris.

Over 50 objects will be exhibited on all three floors of the museum, along with a multimedia presentation about Rashid’s rich and creative works and he will talk about himself and his design philosophy, reported HRT.
