World Cup 2018: Kramaric Starts as Croatia Opt for All Out Attack Against Russia

(HNS)

Whilst it looked as if Croatia would stick with the same eleven which started against Argentina and Denmark, a last-minute change sees coach Zlatko Dalic name Andrej Kramaric in an attacking line-up.

Dalic has named the same attacking line-up which opened the World Cup with a 2-0 win over Nigeria with four attackers. Marcelo Brozovic makes way for Kramaric.

Mario Mandzukic, Ivan Perisic, Ante Rebic and Kramaric will lead the line as Dalic looks to go all out attack in their quarterfinal in Sochi tonight.

Russia was ultra defensive in their Round of 16 win against Spain, getting all 10 players behind the ball for most the match which Spain was not able to find an answer for. Dalic will look to counter that with attack tonight.

Captain Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic will likely again switch roles throughout the half to go back play just in front of the central back pairing of Dejan Lovren and Domagoj Vida and receive the ball.

Sime Vrsaljko and Ivan Strinic will once again be at right and left back respectively.
