DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince are remembered for their classic hits ‘Summertime’, ‘Parents Just Don’t Understand’ and ‘He’s the DJ, I’m the Rapper’. Will Smith had a number of solo hits, such as Gettin’ Jiggy wit It’, ‘Boom Shake the Room’ and ‘Men in Black’.
Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff will be accompanied by a team of over 40 people from America. DJ Jazzy Jeff arrived in Croatia on Wednesday, whilst Will Smith is expected to arrive later in the week.
“Okay… I know this looks like a picture of just my bag… But it’s really a whole lot more. I’m leaving today for two shows with my other life long partner Will Smith aka The Fresh Prince. It’s been over 20 years since we got on the stage as DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince. I wasn’t sure if we were ever going to get to this point again and I’m very happy we’re finally doing it. But I can’t help at this point in time in my life thinking… What if this is the last time we’re ever going to be on stage together… What if this is the end. Because nothing last forever…It makes me look at these shows a lot deeper… It makes me pay closer attention to every moment. We’ve been doing this for almost 35 years and that’s a huge blessing that I don’t want to take for granted. So as much as this looks just like my suitcase…this is a bunch of memories, reflection, and gratitude. For this weekend right now… I bring you the return of DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince. Stay tuned,” DJ Jazzy Jeff wrote on Facebook.
Smith’s wife Jade Pinkett Smith was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon plugging the gig amongst other things.
