31 August 2019 – Croatian captain Luka Modric can add another award to his long list – MVP in an American football and football challenge which took place between Real Madrid and Washington Redskins players.
Modric and his Real Madrid teammates Sergio Ramos and Thibaut Courtois joined NFL stars Landon Collins and Josh Norman for a special edition of Game Recognize Game.
In the game, Modric paired up with Washington Redskins star Collins as they took on Sergio Ramos and Josh Norman in a series of football and American football challenges.
Drills included catching a football, dribbling, juggling, heading, passing and more. At the end there was only one MVP and that was Modric.
The show was filmed during Real Madrid’s pre-season tour of the United States at Audi Field stadium in Buzzard Point in Washington, D.C. It is the home stadium for the Major League Soccer team D.C. United.
