VIDEO: Krka National Park prepares documentary about its 45 species of mammals

ZAGREB, Aug 11 (Hina) – The Krka National Park has prepared several documentaries about wildlife in that area in the Sibenik hinterland, and the last documentary from this series is titled “Mammal”.

The film, directed by Megane Chene and Florian Launette, shows, among other things, roe deer, red fox, northern white-breasted hedgehog, long-fingered bat, pine marten, European badger, wild boar, edible dormouse, black rat and so on.

The park, which belongs to the southern European, Mediterranean region in the zoo-geographic terms, boasts 45 species of mammals. For instance, there are 17 species of bats in this park.

The rivers Krka and Cikola are one of the last Mediterranean habitats of otters.
