Final season of series ‘Carnival Row’ featuring Dubrovnik is now out (Screenshot)
After a lengthy break, the second and final season of Amazon Prime series Carnival Row, which features the Croatian city of Dubrovnik, is now out.
Dubrovnik’s stunning scenery features in the final season of the series created by Travis Beacham and René Echevarria.
Starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, “Carnival Row,” is set in a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures whose rich homelands were invaded by the empires of man.
This growing immigrant population struggles to coexist with humans in the grimiest section of the city, forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate, and a refugee faerie named Vignette Stonemoss rekindle a dangerous affair despite an increasingly-intolerant society.
Dubrovnik has been a popular location for filming in recent years with hit HBO series Game of Thrones and films Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Robin Hood shot there.
Episodes 3 and 4 of the final season of Carnival Row will be released at the same time, on Friday 24th February. After that each instalment will come out weekly.
