VIDEO: Croatian music hit of the year awards held

Petar Grašo has won the public Croatian music award for the hit of the year. 

Grašo’s hit ‘Ako te pitaju’, written by Tonči and Vjekoslava Huljić, won the public hit of the year award – Cesarica. 

This was the second year in the row that the public voted for the hit of the year among the nominated finalists who were; Ivan Zak, Željko Bebek, Petar Grašo, Franka, Zsa Zsa, Mia, Zaprešić Boys, Domenica, Kedžo, Opća opasnost, Najbolji hrvatski tamburaši and klapa Rišpet. 

Nina Badrić, who won the first Cesarica award last year for her song ‘Dani i godine’, opened the night with a performance of her awarded song as well as her latest hit.

The award for the hit of the year in the pop music category went to Zaprešić Boys for their World Cup supporters’ song ‘Igraj moja Hrvatska’, whilst Željko Bebek won in the most entertaining category for his song ‘Ako voliš ovu ženu’ which featured the late Oliver Dragojević. 

Cesarica – Hit of the Year

Klapa Rišpet won best klapa group, Opća opasnost won in the rock category for ‘Da je Bog dao’, whilst the tambura hit of the year was won by Najbolji hrvatski tamburaši for their song ‘Odlazim’.
