Croatia’s famous musicians 2CELLOS have thrilled the large at a tribute concert dedicated to legendary tenor Luciano Pavarotti.
Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser were invited to perform in Verona at the Luciano Pavarotti 10th Anniversary Concert last night.
The concert, which marked the 10th anniversary of Pavarotti’s passing, featured a number of stars from the opera and pop field, including Placido Domingo and Josè Carreras, who performed together with Pavarotti several times as The Three Tenors.

“We are so honoured to play for Pavarotti, he was the greatest singer in history, He was an inspiration and was the first to make classical music big and play at big stadiums. He opened the door for everyone. Thank you for everything Maestro Pavarotti,” Stjepan Hauser said in a tribute message.

The concert was held on 6 September at Verona Arena, the Roman amphitheatre internationally renowned for its large-scale opera productions as well as pop concerts.
