ZAGREB, 12 Dec (Hina) – London-based NEOIX PLC plans to build a 50-megawatt data centre in the Croatian town of Nova Gradiška.

The data centre will be built in Nova Gradiška’s business zone, a €400–450 million greenfield investment, the largest in Croatia, according to a preliminary agreement signed by the company and the town.

Mayor Vinko Grgić had hinted at the project during Monday’s Town Day celebrations without giving details.

The town later confirmed on its website that Grgić and NEOIX’s regional director for Southeast Europe, Tomislav Bubalo, signed the pre-contract on 4 December. Construction is scheduled to begin in early May.

The project is expected to create 30 high-tech specialist jobs and 40 technical and service positions.

The facility will feature advanced, scalable IT infrastructure designed to meet rising market demand and comply with top-tier security standards.
