Croatia will meet former World and European champions Spain and England in the group stages of the inaugural UEFA Nations League competition after the draw was made in Lausanne, Switzerland on Wednesday.

Croatia has been drawn in League A – 4 with Spain and England in the new competition which will be played from September to November 2018, just after the World Cup in Russia.

The UEFA Nations League, which replaces international friendlies, sees all 55 UEFA teams split into 4 leagues. The leagues, based on rankings, have been split into groups with teams playing each other home and away.
