Two new cases in last 24 hours in Croatia, no deaths for third day in a row

ZAGREB, May 18, 2020 – There have been 2 new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said at Monday’s press conference.

Today’s new cases bring the total tally of cases to 2,228. The new cases were reported in the Brod-Posavina and Grad Zagreb counties.

For the third day in a row, there have been no COVID-19-related fatalities. The current death toll stands at 95.

There have been 1,946 recoveries to date, 10 more than yesterday. This means there are currently 185 active COVID-19 cases in Croatia. 

There are 122 in hospital as of Monday, 8 fewer than Sunday with 10 patients currently on a ventilator.

Since late February, Croatia has conducted 54,820 tests, including 943 in the last 24 hours.
