Traditional Christmas concert at Cibona to take place for 32nd time

Some well-known names of the Croatian music scene will perform at this year’s Christmas concert in Cibona

This year’s gala concert of the 32nd Christmas in Cibona, on Sunday, December 26 at 8 pm, will bring together more than 20 performers, who will perform some of the most beautiful Christmas songs from Croatia and around the world.

Albina, Saša Lozar, Šajeta, Franka Batelić, Goran Karan, Bojan Jambrošić, Martina Zadro, Marija Kuhar Šoša and many others will brighten this Christmas with performances of traditional Christmas songs such as Silent Night, Veselje ti navješćujem, Kyrie Eleison, Narodi nam se, Božić bili… All of them will be accompanied by as many as five choirs and the orchestra of the City Comedy Theatre, so that a total of more than 200 performers will organise a memorial concert for the audience in Cibona on St. Stephen’s Day.

The Choir and Orchestra of the City Comedy Theatre – Zagreb, the Zagreb Cathedral Mixed Choir, the Maranatha Choir, the Josip Vrhovski Choir – Nedelišće and the Roženice Mixed Choir – Pazin will also perform.

The Christmas concert in Cibona is held under the auspices of the City of Zagreb, in cooperation with the Zagreb Archdiocese, the Cibona Basketball Club, the Sports Facilities Management Institution, the Maksimir Centre for Culture and Information, the Zagreb City Comedy Theatre and Croatian Radio and Television (HRT). 

The concert will be broadcast on the Second Channel of Croatian Radio and on the HRT 2 of Croatian Television. The concert will be hosted by Mirko Fodor and Doris Pinčić.

Tickets that can be purchased at all ulaznice.hr sales points at prices of 30 and 50 kuna and at the box office of the Dražen Petrović Cultural Centre

Entrance to the concert is possible only with a COVID pass with a QR code (vaccination, test not older than 48 hours and recovery within six months). Testing for visitors in front of the hall will not be provided so as not to create crowds.
