Bazaar – Zagreb’s first urban market reopens

ZAGREB, 14 October 2025 – After several years away, Bazaar, Zagreb’s first and most popular urban market, is making a long-awaited return.

The revived edition will take place this Sunday, 19 October, at Tvornica kulture, starting at 11 a.m.

Entry is, as always, free of charge.

First launched in 2012, Bazaar quickly became one of Zagreb’s most recognisable urban gatherings.

Over the years, it brought together artists, small craftspeople, designers and collectors, creating a vibrant community space that blended creativity, design and social energy.

Between 2012 and 2017, Bazaar was hosted at several of the city’s most distinctive venues, from the former slaughterhouse on Heinzelova Street, where it all began, to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MSU), the Tuškanac garage rooftop, Gradec and the Garden Brewery.

During that time, more than 1,800 exhibitors from across Croatia and the region took part, and over 25,000 visitors passed through its doors, making Bazaar the country’s largest and most visited urban market of its kind.

For its return, Bazaar has chosen one of Zagreb’s most iconic venues, Tvornica kulture in Šubićeva Street.

This Sunday, around 50 exhibitors will present a diverse range of creations, including designer clothing and fashion accessories, vintage pieces, furniture, natural cosmetics, comics, illustrations, jewellery and much more.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and the event will run until 7 p.m., promising a full day of creativity, community and discovery, true to the original Bazaar spirit that many Zagreb locals fondly remember.
