Okolo/Around
17 August – 1 September

A new project dedicated to artistic exploration of Zagreb – AROUND – brings life to a number of public city spaces by staging small interventions in the city itself, turning these spaces into places where art spontaneously touches everyday city life (and each of us).  Over twenty sites in the very Zagreb centre have been handed over to artists. They will explore solutions for attracting people’s attention to site’s beauty and uniqueness, for discovering potential in neglected and “empty” spaces, and some new dimensions of spaces that are being used. More details here. https://www.facebook.com/okolozagreb/

More detais about what else is going on can be found on the Zagreb Tourist Board site here.

For all those visitors who don’t live in Zagreb but would like to enjoy some of the events best idea is to book accommodation in an apartment or hotel in Zagreb for as long as they need. It’s the smartest way to visit all the events you want without constant need to check is it a time to head home or arguments who will drive.
