ZAGREB, 27 March (Hina) – The Croatian government decided on Wednesday to allocate HRK 9.5 million (€1.3m) for six projects of “strategic importance” to Croatian communities abroad.

The allocation will be used to support the operation of the University of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and two projects by the Croatian National Council in Serbia – construction of the Croatia House in Subotica and institutional empowerment of the Croatian community in Serbia.

The money will also support the Croatian Theatre in Pecs, Hungary; Radio Dux, the radio of the Croatian minority in Montenegro; and the Croatian newspaper in Eisenstadt (Željezno), Austria.
