Silver Air to Commence Domestic Flights in Croatia

Silver Air, a small Czech airline headquartered and based in Prague is to commence domestic flights in Croatia this summer.

The airline will launch seasonal summer flights from Lošinj Airport on the island of the same name to a number of Croatian cities. It will become the first foreign carrier to maintain domestic flights and the only scheduled airline to operate out of Lošinj, the country’s smallest commercial airport, Ex-Yu Aviation News reports.

Flights from Lošinj to Zagreb, Split and Pula will commence on June 24 and run until September 16.

Furthermore, Silver Air will connect Lošinj with Lugano in Switzerland. All flights will be operated by the 20-seat L-410 Turbolet aircraft.

Lošinj

Silver Air’s focus has been on operations from Italy to Romania and Switzerland with its two turboprop aircraft. It will join Croatia Airlines and Trade Air in offering domestic flights within Croatia.

Silver Air Launch Dates

Lošinj – Lugano: 24.06.2018
Lošinj – Zagreb: 25.06.2018
Lošinj – Pula: 26.06.2018
Lošinj – Split: 26.06.2018

Silver Air will fly three times per week from Lošinj to Zagreb, and twice weekly from Lošinj to Split and Pula. Flights will take around 20 minutes. A once weekly service will operate from Lošinj to Lugano.
